They exist all over the world and have a deep meaning which we should know. In the various forms of religion, these symbols play a
meaningful belief :
1) HAMSA : The symbol of a hand with 5 fingers. It is a palm shaped
amulet with an EYE in the middle . It's purpose is to ward off negative energy and the EVIL EYE .
..a malicious STARE that is known to cause UNLUCKINESS, ILLNESS or DEATH ...all faiths and religions
use this popular symbol.
2) THE FLOWER OF LIFE: This is a flowery geometrical design. This symbol is a king in sacred beliefs,
to be a pattern of CREATION. A very ancient symbol in the list used since the time of the world's
first civilization. It is composed of seven overlapping, evenly saved spaced circles...the figure forms a flowerlike pattern that looks like a hexagon. In the ancient ERA, all believe this symbol to be special.
3) YIN YANG : This symbol is used in Chinese teachings. It represents the harmony of the universe. All duality, no matter how dark or light, masculine or feminine...this symbol provides needed balance. It is said that the balance between the two opposing forces brings the most harmony to an individual's life.
4) PENTAGRAM: Often labelled as satanic and misunderstood. The
pentagram symbolizes the quality of man. The topmost point represents spirit while the other points represent the 4 elements.
5) DHARMA WHEEL: The wheel of Dharma or the wheel of law is the
Buddhist symbol for teaching of the path of NIRVANA..Each spoke represents a step in Buddha's eight
fold path, though it's older than Buddhism itself.
6) STAR OF DAVID: This is the symbol of the shield which king David used in battle . The other theory about this popular hexagon is that it represents 6 directions in space : Up, east, west, north , south and the centre.
7) OM: This is the mother of of all mantras and the primordial sound by which the universe was created
..Used in Hinduism since it's inception. Om is considered the primary symbol of this great religion. Deep meditation brings this sound to the forefront enveloping the person in a universal glow.
8) CHRISTIAN FISH: The fish of Christianity was used in early days as a secret way to tell others to follow the teachings of Christ. It came from the Pagan religion and represented fertility, birth and the natural force of women.
9) EYE OF HORUS: This symbol was used as an amulet to give safety, health and wisdom to the wearer.
HORUS was the god of Sun and Moon , who lost his eye during battle and restored by the God Thotu.
10) LOTUS FLOWER: This symbol is widely regarded as it represents
enlightenment. The beautiful flower rises from the sludge of muddy water which reinforces the concept of resurrection.This shows that any trial can be overcome through perseverance.
